Kothi
Nestled at an altitude of 2500 m above the sea level, Kothi is a tranquil, quaint village, sited at a distance of about 16 km from Manali. The place is well-known for providing an unbelievable vista of the deep gorge and the Beas River running swiftly through it. One has to cover a one-hour steep trek from the road to reach here. The beauty of the site is magnified by thermal springs that come out of the rocks. Besides being a marvelous sightseeing spot, Kothi gorge also makes a preferred choice for paragliding. The ideal time to visit this place is during May to October.

Gulaba
About 20 km away from Manali towards Rohtang Pass, a spectacular, stupendous place welcomes you with white snow all around - Gulaba. Here, one can have the glimpse of snow covered curvy hill roads and the glittering peaks of the mighty Himalayan Mountains. Moreover, the place provides a plethora of exiting winter games, such as skiing, paragliding, sledging, yak riding and more. Though, it is not accessible in winter because of heavy snow fall, the Manali-Rohtang road offers way to the travelers till Gulaba towards the end of February or early March. As stated, the place owes its name to Raja Gulab Singh, the former king of Jammu and Kashmir, who rested here during his endeavor to conquer China.

Rahala Falls
Rahala Falls is a wonderful natural waterfall, sited at an elevation of about 2500 meter, and 16 km from Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass. The water from melting glaciers gushing down through the rocky terrain forms the source of the falls. With snow-capped peaks of Himalayan Mountains in the backdrop, and dense deodar and birch woods embracing the nearby area, the place casts a spell on the travelers with its incredible beauty. Come here between the months of May to October for enjoying the compelling panorama and revitalizing your senses.

Van Vihar
Van Vihar is a restful leisure park, settled close to the vibrant Tibetan market on Mall Road in Manali. This small, yet beautiful, lush green place is dotted with numerous tall deodar woods with seating areas, where you can have some intimate moment with your loved one. Moreover, it has a little pond with paddle boats to add some pleasurable colours to your romantic vacation.
